    Online CTET Application 2020 Open- Check dates, Announcements, Fees and Eligibility Criteria

    Central teaching eligibility test is a country level exam specially organized as a means to certify candidate's eligibility to be recruited as primary and upper primary grade teachers. In one year, it is organized two times, one in the month of December, and the second in the July Month. So, here we are going to discuss about CTET 2020 July Exam, that is scheduled on 5 July, 2020.

    The online registration of CTET 2020 has been opened by CBSE. You can get the application form for CTET 2020 at the official website of ctet.nic.in.  Last date to submit online application is 24 Feb, till 11:59 PM. However, the final date of making online payment of fees is 27 February till 3 PM.

    Recent Announcement by CTET 2020

    Recently an official announcement came from the central board of secondary education regarding the upcoming CTET 2020 exam dates. To be held on July 5, 2020, it will be the 14th CTET exam. It will be segmented into two time schedules- First paper will be organized from 9:30 Am to 12:00 Noon, and second paper will be organized from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.

    If you are aspiring to become a government teacher, then qualifying this national level eligibility test is mandatory for you. Aspirants who pass first paper are eligible to teach primary students ( Class 1 to class 5), and qualified aspirants of paper 2 are eligible to teach upper primary students ( class 6th to 8th).     A brief About CTET 2020 Registration and Online Application

    Modes of Fees Payment

    To make payment for CTET 2020 exam, you have two options-offline through e-challan, or online payment through debit or credit card, or netbanking. If you choose e-challan, you can use syndicate or canara bank e-challan for making the payment.

    CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    To apply for CTET test, exam aspirants should meet the following criteria:

    Eligibility criteria for Paper 1:

    Twelfth pass with minimum 50% and passed or final year appearing in any of the following exams:

    • D.EL.ED second year
    • B.EL.ED 4-year
    • D.ED 2-year

    Minimum 45 percent marks in 12th, passed or final year appearing of 2-year D.EL.ED as per the rules of NCTE

    Graduation with at least 50% of marks, and B.Ed.

    Eligibility Criteria For Paper 2:

    1- Graduation completed, pass or appearing in final year of 2- year D.EL.ED

    2- At least 50% passing marks in graduation, and final year appearing or passed in any of the following:

    • 1- year B.Ed
    • 2- 1 Year B.ed

    3- Graduated with minimum 45% & passed or appearing in 1-year B.ED according to the guidelines of NCTE.

    4- 12th passout with 50%, appearing or passed in following:

    • 4-year B.EL.Ed
    • 4-year BA/B.SC Ed or BA Ed/B.Sc Ed.

    CTET 2020 Exam Pattern

    In CTET exam questions are multiple choice where 4 alternatives are provided to candidates in which one is right. The test is pen-paper based offline mode.
