BTech, BE	Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects, with not less than 55% aggregate in PCM
BA (Hons)	Passed SSC with a minimum of 50% aggregate in best five papers or in the concerned subject
MA	Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 55% aggregate
BArch	Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
MBA	Passed a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% aggregate
BCom (Hons)	SSC or any equivalent exam with not less than 45% aggregate in best five papers
BDS	Class 12 in Science stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate
MSc	BSc with not less than 50% aggregate in total and at least 55% in the subject concerned
MTech	Bachelor’s degree in relevant stream of Engineering with not less than 60% aggregate or 6.75 CGPA on a 10-point scale

Conclusion

The dream of a university that would cater to the needs of the Muslims in the country was first realized by Sir Sayyid Ahmed Khan. In 1875, he founded the Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College in a small town called Aligarh, which would, later on, become the University of Aligarh. Sir Sayyid wanted to provide the Muslims of the country with an institution of higher education where they could be trained in the same discipline as their British counterparts.
