This college is an institute of national importance with one of the best engineering colleges in the world. IIT Bombay keeps its place in the top IITs of India as well as all over the world in the top 100 universities. It was established in 1958 and is known as the first college to start with foreign assistance on Indian soil.
It was formed in 1933 under the name of the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT). Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune was formed in 1983. It is popular for higher education since then. This College has 101 laboratories, 43+ classrooms, 21+ tutorial rooms, a five-storied library, a specialized computer center, a seminar hall, a video-audio mega hall, a playground, an auditorium, a gymnasium, a café, and a separate cafeteria store.
This institute was started in the name of Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute in 1997. A new name was assigned to it as Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) assigned to it. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is run by the University of Mumbai.
Most of the time GHRCEM is well known as GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management. It is an Autonomous institute with a NIRF rank of 130. This college was founded in 2008. It is approved by the AICTE and runs in association with the Savitri Bai Phule, Pune University(SVPPU).
It was founded in 1984 by the Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti trust of Nagpur later due to the foundation it was renamed as Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (SRCEM). This institute is especially popular for its PhD and ME-related courses.
Taking about DIAT is one of the world-class institutions of the Defense Ministry of India. The function pattern is not like any regular engineering college.
