Delhi Domicile Reservation (Important):

A significant number of seats are reserved for candidates from the Delhi Region. The reservation policy generally follows this structure:

  • General Category: 50% of the total unreserved seats are horizontally reserved for candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (Class 12) from a recognized school in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2027

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) – Five Year Programme: Must have a 10+2 certificate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD). Those who are appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2027 are also eligible to apply for this course.

Foreign National Candidates must have secured 65% marks in their qualifying examination.

LLM – One-Year Programme: To apply for this exam, students must possess an LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD). If you are one of those appearing in the final LL.B. examination in April/May 2027, you are also eligible to apply.
Ph.D. To be part of this exam, students must have an LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% for SC/ST/PWD).
