Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS 2021

  • Applicant age must be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2021.
  • The applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent board/exam with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible.
  • Applicant should have scored above 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWBD) gross marks in chemistry, English, physics, and Biology subjects are eligible.
  • The applicant should have Indian Citizenship.
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) candidates should submit the proof of registration as OCI/NRI in order to appear for the exam.
  • Foreign Nationals determined by the government of India can only apply for AIIMS, New Delhi. Such applicants do not require to appear for the AIIMS 2021 entrance exam.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus of AIIMS MBBS 

  • Exam Mode – There will be online mode i.e. computer-based test
  • Exam Duration – three hours and thirty minutes (3.30 hrs)
  • Language – English & Hindi
  • Marking criteria – For every correct answer there will be one mark
  • Negative marking – There will be one third (one third) deduction for every wrong answer
  • Total Number of the question – two hundred (200) MCQs (multiple choice questions), Questions will be asked from physics, chemistry, general knowledge, and biology
