UGC NET 2023 Exam

UGC NET is an online examination of 3 hours where the candidates have to answer 150 questions. There would be 2 sections in the question paper. UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Age Limit

  • JRF – The general and SC/ST/OBC category candidates’ ages must be 30 and 25 years old, respectively.
  • Assistant Professor – No Age Foundation.

 

Age Relaxation

  • Experienced candidates (in the research field only) will be given 5 years of age relaxation.
  • The one who has dome LLM must be 33 years old.
  • Candidates who served armed forces are given 5 years of relaxation.

 

Qualification Criteria

  • The candidates should have completed master’s in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science, and Applications, Electronic Science, etc (list of subjects given below).
  • The general and SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates in master’s must have scored 55% and 50% aggregate marks, respectively.
