This time the XAT 2023 exam date was officially announced by XLRI Jamshedpur on August 8, 2022. This year registrations for the XAT exam 2023 will be held online mode.

In XAT 2022, Essay Writing was reintroduced for the first time. It will appear as a section in Part 2 of the paper. However, important thing is that the score of Essay Writing was not taken into consideration at the time of score/percentile calculation. It was only analyzed at the time of shortlisting for the Personal Interview (PI) round. But for 2023, XLRI has removed Essay Writing from XAT 2023 syllabus.

What is XAT Exam?

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a well-known national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur (a private institution) for admission to MBA/PGDM and other programs too. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI member colleges, over 1,000 B-schools accept XAT scores for their admission process for their post-graduate management programs.

XAT Exam Pattern and Test Structure

The XAT exam 2023 is going to be in online mode and the question paper consists of 100 MCQs. That is to be solved in 180 minutes. However, the XAT exam pattern was also revised in 2022 and essay writing was reintroduced the time duration was also increased for it which is of 10 minutes. There is no sectional time limit for the XAT exam 2023.

XAT Eligibility Criteria for 2023

  • 3 years Bachelor’s Degree. Also one can apply if he/she is in the last year of their UG. This means that Candidates must need to have held a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a government-recognized university.
  • Students in their final year of bachelor’s degree or awaiting their results (before June 2023) are also eligible to apply.
  • There are no minimum marks criteria for the XAT exam application.
  • Working professionals and candidates with professional degrees (CA/CS) can also eligible to apply for this exam.

XAT Admit Card 2023

To download the admit card you need to follow the specified steps;

  • Visit the official website of XAT 2023; xatonline.in .
  • Click on the ‘Download admit card’ tab available after the release of the official notification for the result.
  • Enter your registered details like XAT User ID and date of birth and then click on ‘login’.
  • Further click on admit card tab, download the pdf available there and take a printout for future use.

XAT Answer Key
