BITSAT, or the BITS Admission Test, is a university-level examination organized by BITS Pilani. This exam is your gateway to admission into high-demand courses including B.E., B. Pharm., and Integrated M.Sc. programs across their three campuses. According to the NIRF 2025 rankings, BITS Pilani secured the 11th spot in the Engineering category, maintaining its status as India’s #1 ranked private engineering institute.
Students who wish to join these courses under the BITS Pilani banner can easily apply for the BITSAT 2026 Entrance Exam by following the detailed steps we have provided. Remember that eligibility Criteria are critical. You must fulfill the specific subject and percentage requirements mentioned here to avoid disqualification.

To be part of the BITS branches, you must follow the strict eligibility guidelines. BITS Pilani has recently confirmed that students who retake the entire Class 12 examination are no longer eligible. Only students passing in 2025 or 2026 are eligible for this cycle.
Direct admission is possible, but limited: only First Rank holders (Toppers) of State or Central boards are eligible for direct admission, provided they meet the 75% PCM/PCB aggregate requirement. This allows the brightest minds to join any course of their choice bypassing the BITSAT score requirement.
