Is DU admission based on Class 12 marks in 2026?

For Regular colleges, NO. Admission is based solely on CUET 2026 scores. However, Class 12 marks are used as a tie-breaker if two students have the same CUET score. For DU SOL (Distance Learning), admission is still based on Class 12 marks.

What is the CSAS Portal?

CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) is the online platform where you must register, select your college preferences, and pay your fees to get admission into Delhi University after your CUET exam.

Does DU accept JEE Mains?

Yes, but only for specific courses. The Faculty of Technology (B.Tech in CSE, ECE, EE) accepts JEE Mains. However, the B.Tech in IT & Mathematical Innovations at CIC accepts CUET scores.

Can I change my stream in DU?

Yes, you can change your stream (e.g., Science to Arts), but you must appear for CUET in the subjects you studied in Class 12. DU will calculate your merit based on those scores.
