Basic Guidelines

  • Questions will be asked from the General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude sections.
  • The duration of Air Force Common Entrance Test 1 will be 2 hours.
  • A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked in the AFCAT exam.
  • The question paper for AFCAT 1 will be worth 300 marks, where each question will be worth 1 mark.
  • 3 mark for each correct answer.

Eligibility Criteria

Those applying for the AFCAT Exam 2025 must fulfil qualification and age criteria, which we have featured in the section below.

Flying Branch Minimum 20 years and Maximum 24 years

Those with commercial pilot license can give exam up to 26 years.

·       One must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

·       Candidates must have passed Class 12th with a (50% marks in Maths and Physics).

·       B.E./B. Tech with minimum 60% marks.

·       Should have secured 60% marks in Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of the Aeronautical Society of India or Institute of Engineers (India).

For each posts of IAF, a candidate must be unmarried. In case of marriage during the training, the candidature will be cancelled.
Ground Duty (Technical) Age criteria is between 20 to 26 years as on Jan 1, 2025.

 

For 10+2: Candidates require a 50% marks in Physics and Maths.

For Graduation: Minimum 4 years degree in Engineering and Technology is required.

Or, Should have secured 60% marks in Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of the Aeronautical Society of India or Institute of Engineers (India).

 

How to Fill AFCAT Online Form 2025?

To fill out the form, Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned procedure:

Step: 1

  1. Visit careerairforce.nic.in
  2. Click “Candidate Login” tab
  3. Choose “Not yet Registered? Register Here”
  4. Creation of Login ID, students will get a password on their registered email.

Step: 2

  1. Use the login credentials to login
  2. Select the type of entry, AFCAT, NCC Special Entry
  3. Tap “Instructions” tab
  4. Tap the checkbox to acknowledge Read and understood instructions carefully.
  5. Hit “Application Form Filling”
  6. Here, type your name, parent’s name, nationality, courses, and many more
  7. After that, upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, Thumb Impression
  8. Then, pay the examination fee i.e., Rs. 550 +GST.
  9. Finally, hit the “Submit” button to submit your application form.

Exam Fee Structure

If you are going to fill out the online application form for AFCAT 1 2025, then you have to pay its application fee, which is Rs. 550/- as an examination fee. The payment will be accepted through credit/debit cards, net banking and through valid payment gateways.

Note: No cash, cheque or demand draft will be accepted.
