Exam Guideline

  • Exam mode: Online
  • Medium of Exam: English & Hindi both (except for the language section)
  • Type of questions: Objective type
  • Negative marking: one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for every wrong answer

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria are essential aspects that students need to fulfil before applying for an exam. So, if you are one of those who are going to apply for the IBPS RRB Exam, then you need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

Nationality ·       Candidates should be Indian citizens, Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.

·       Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India.

·         Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, East African countries of Kenya, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, the United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

Age Limit (As of 01.06.2023) ·      Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): The minimum age required is 21 years, and the maximum should be 40 years.

·      Officer Scale-II (Manager): The minimum age required is 21 years, and the maximum should be 32 years.

·      Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum should be 30 years.

·      Office Assistant (Multipurpose): The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum should be 28 years.

Age relaxation would be for other categories:

How do I fill out the IBPS RRB Application Form 2024?

Step 1: IBPS RRB Registration

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
  • For IBPS registration, enter a name, phone number, email id, and security code.
  • On successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated. The same is also sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  • Note the provisional registration number and password below.
  • The data entered during registration cannot be changed.

 

Step 2: Fill out the Application form

  • Fill in basic details, educational qualification and experience, preferences, and other required details like category, nationality, personal information, selection test centre, date of birth, gender, father’s or mother’s name, address, etc.
  • Post it, candidates should complete the Educational Qualification, Work Experience, and Language.
  • After that, enter the bank preferences.

 

Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents

At this point, upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the format given below:

Step 4: Fee payment

After following the above procedure, candidates can pay fees using online payment gateways like Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, and Cash Cards/ Mobile wallets.

  • An e-receipt will be generated after a successful fee payment.
  • Take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form.
