The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection organizes the IBPS SO Exam 2024 once a year. This examination is conducted to help all the banks select appropriate candidates for various department posts.

This exam also selects candidates for Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer, Law Officer, Rajya Sabha Adhikari, and various other posts. The level of this exam varies from moderate to difficult, depending on the post IBPS is hiring for.

Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the form. There are certain categories that you have to see whether you fall into. Before applying for the IBPS SO exam, ensure you meet the required qualifications, age, and category.


  • The candidates who are citizens of India are eligible.
  • People who migrated from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugees who came to India in 1962 are also eligible.

Age Limit

  • Students must be between 20 and 30 years old.
  • For the reserved categories, the candidates are given age relaxation.
  • However, if they belong to the reserved category, they will be provided age relaxation on the upper age limit.
