You qualify for this exam to take direct admission to the topmost engineering colleges affiliated with UPTU or AKTU. Exam Pattern and Syllabus for 2026
The paper consists of questions from subjects you have learned in previous classes. You should have good knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and English. Apart from this, students will see questions on aptitude, logical reasoning, and general awareness. - Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for these exams.
- Nationality: Applicant should have Indian Citizenship. Kashmiri Migrants, PIO, and NRI are also eligible.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) in their 12th standard qualifying marks.

Admissions for B.Tech are now based on JEE Main scores, and other courses are via CUET. The term “UPSEE” is now largely replaced by UPTAC Counseling.
