• Last Date: Tentatively April 2026
• Apply at: KVS Online Admission Portal [ For Online Application Link ]
• Purpose: Admission to Std 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas across India for the academic year 2026-27.

For Class 2 and Above (Offline Mode):

• Registration: Expected in April 2026 (Subject to vacancy availability)
• Submission: Offline mode only, at the respective KV Principal’s office.
• Last Date: Mid-April 2026

KVS Class I Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria for KVS Class I Admission 2026

As per the New Education Policy (NEP), a child must be Minimum 6 Years of age as of 31/03/2026. Children born on 1st April are also eligible to be part of this Admission Process 2026-27.

• Class 1 Age Limit: 6 to 8 years as of March 31, 2026.

For Balvatika (Pre-Primary) Admission 2026:

KVS has introduced Balvatika Classes (Pre-School) in selected schools.

• Balvatika 1: 3+ Years
• Balvatika 2: 4+ Years
• Balvatika 3: 5+ Years

Note: For KVS Class II to Other Classes Admission 2026, candidates need to read the notification regarding vacancies in specific schools, as these are not conducted centrally online.
