The Agnipath Scheme is the entry point for sailors (SSR/MR). Candidates serve for 4 years, after which 25% are selected for permanent service. This is a great way to start your naval career right after 10th or 12th.
UPSC conducts the exam twice a year for admission to the National Defense Academy (NDA). Successful candidates join as Naval Cadets and are commissioned as Sub Lieutenants upon completion of training.
