The College of Engineering, Pune is known as one of the oldest and largest engineering colleges in Pune, set up in 1854. It consists of seven departments  namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Technology, and Computer Science and Engineering.


Admission to the IIT Patna for B Tech courses is done on the basis of JEE main scores. COEP Admissions is scheduled to commence soon. The BTech admission 2024 in this institute is done on the basis of MHT CET examination. Registration for the same exam has already been conducted. BE/ BTech Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry/ Biotechnology/  Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture or Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. The candidate must have secured a minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category).
