JEEUP 2020-Exam dates, Eligibility and Polytechnic Application

You can apply for JEECUP 2020 entrance exam to get admission in reputed Polytechnic colleges in UP. The JEECUP 2020 is organized to be conducted from 26th to 27th April 2020. This exam is called a state-level entrance exam that is arranged each year by the joint entrance exam council, UP. The one who is qualified gets admission in pharmacy, technology, engineering, and other diploma programs.

The candidate’s score in JEECUP exams decides which college does a student get admission.

 UP Polytechnic Application Form

  • The online application released on the official website in the December 2019
  • Candidates are allowed to submit their form only through online mode
  • The expected date for the last date of submitting the application form is February 2020.
  • During registration, a candidate should provide valid mobile number in order to get exam updates on SMS.
  • While filling the application form, there is no requirement of Adhar number
  • Filling the complete form is mandatory, either form gets rejected.
  • Multiple applications submitted by candidates will be rejected.

 Application Fees

 The application fees can be paid by candidates via online mode either through debit/credit card or E-challen by SBI.

  • Charges for General/OBC candidates- Rs. 300 plus bank charges
  • Charges for SC/ST candidates- Rs. 200 plus bank charges

Who is Eligible For Polytechnic Exam?

If you are going to apply for UP Polytechnic 2020, then note down the criteria given below:

Candidate is must have qualified 10th or 12th level exams or its equivalent from well-recognized university and board. Mandatory subjects for qualified exams are physics, maths, and chemistry. Candidates applying for JEECUP 2020 should have a domicile of UP. Percentage criteria for eligible percentage marks differ according to the programs. For engineering, the candidate must have passed with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam. For the diploma, the qualified percentage is 50%.

Exam Pattern for JEECUP

  • Group A exam will be arranged in offline mode, whereas Group B to I & K1 to K8.
  • The exam paper consists of a total of 100 objective type questions, with a time hour of three hours.
  • Every correct answer is awarded with +4 marks, and an incorrect answer has a negative (-1 ) marking.
