RBI Assistant 2026 Mains Result Date: Expected State-wise Cut-offs & LPT Requirements

The RBI Assistant Mains 2026 result is expected to be released in the second week of July 2026. Out of thousands of applicants, exactly 8,171 candidates qualified to sit for this Mains phase. Final placement now strictly relies on passing the local vernacular language tests.

Overview

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) held a big exam on June 7, 2026. They are looking to hire 650 people for the job of an Assistant.

To get this job, candidates must pass three clear steps. First was the preliminary test, where exactly 8,171 candidates qualified to move forward. Second was the main written test, which is now over.

The main written test is worth 200 marks. Your score on this test determines your final rank. However, you must pass every single subject section to stay in the race.

The third and final step is the local language test. Your final job placement strictly relies on passing these local vernacular reading, writing, and speech parameters. If you cannot speak or write the local language of your chosen office, you cannot get the job.
