Eligibility Criteria of CAT 2020

In order to apply and appear for the CAT exam, the applicant has to meet the eligibility criteria. IIM may verify the eligibility criteria of the applicants at any stage of the selection process. So it is always suggested to provide an active and working mobile number for flawless communication.

Age Limit:  There is no age limit to appear in CAT 2020.

Education qualification 

The candidate must have passed have graduation with fifty percent marks (45 % SC/ST/PWD). Moreover, the applicant such as ICWA, CA, CS, etc is also eligible for the entrance test but they have to score 50% gross marks.

The applicant who is in the final year of college also applies for the exam.

Exam Pattern Of CAT 2020 

Exam Duration - Three Hours (180 miutes)

Total number of question - 100

Exam Patter - 75 multiple choice question (MCQs) and twenty five non-multiple choice questions (non-MCQs)

Mode of examination- There will be online exam (computer based)

Marking scheme - There will be three marks for right answer and for wrong answer one mark will be dedcuted.

Exam language - English
