BAMS is a Bachelor’s course for Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. This is basically a medical course that gives information about the medicines and surgery of Ayurveda. Students can take admission in the BAMS course after completing their intermediate from science. You should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics to pursue a BAMS course. Also, it is important to score 60% marks for the general category and 50% for other categories in your intermediate examination. Like other examinations, there are no citizenship restrictions to apply for this course. Students with citizenship in another country can also apply for this examination if they have completed their intermediate or equivalent degree.

Students can take admission in BAMS courses based on their NEET scores. The BAMS exam consists of a computer-based test where the students have to answer multiple-choice types of questions. BAMS Eligibility Criteria 2022

  • Candidates must pass their 12th or equivalent examination with science subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology and English.
  • Candidates must have completed their 12th from a recognized board.
  • The candidates who must have completed the age of 17 years are eligible for the entrance exam.
  • For the general category, students are required to secure at least 50% in academics and 40% is required for the reserved categories.
  • Foreign candidates with an equivalent degree can also appear for this examination.

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • Aspirants from other countries who have settled here are allowed to give BAMS exam.
