National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is defined as the single medical entrance exam all over India. The other national level and state level medical entrance examination excepts the JIPMER MBBS exam and  AIIMS MBBS exam have been replaced by this entrance exam. The score achieved in this entrance exam is valid in taking admission is State Government Quota Seats,  Central Pool Quota Seats, Central Institutions/Deemed Universities/Universities, State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Dental/Medical colleges or any Private University, All India Quota Seats.

Eligibility Criteria For NEET

Lower age limit - Seventeen (17) years of the age at the time of admission

Upper age limit - Above Twenty Five (25) years 

For Unreserved (UR), SC/ST/OBC candidates - born on before 31st December 2012.

Applicants who have passed 12th from recognized university or board having a combination of Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry

A minimum gross of 50% marks in Chemistry, Biology, physics is required

For Reserved Candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must have scored 40% in their academics and 45 % for physically challenged
